In times as busy as these days, it is rare that we contemplate simple but beautiful things in front of our eyes every day of our busy lives.
“Sitting Walking” is a gift offered by Teodora Pacurar that leads us to live in the now in every detail, which so often escapes us through daily stress, when we get tied up in the past or worry too much about the future.
Every Tuesday at 6 pm, at the wonderful Private & Public art gallery, it is possible to have the experience of sitting meditation, where each person sits in the most comfortable position for meditation, for about an hour, listening to Teodora’s voice guiding the session towards a clearing of the mind and a focus on the present.

On Sundays at 10 am, at different outdoor locations each month, it is possible to practice both sitting and walking meditation. During the walking meditation, participants are invited to walk at a slow pace, focusing on the movement and the sensations that are present in every second of the session.
Teodora Pacurar is a sweet soul, barista of CaféJAC, who has sought knowledge and gained experience through silent meditation retreats in Buddhist monasteries across the UK, Europe, and the Asian continent.
She seeks to practice the Honour System, where each person contributes what they can and what they feel is most deserved, as a form of gratitude for the service rendered with heart and soul.
Who does not feel the desire to empty the mind for a moment and appreciate what is simple and available to us?
Perhaps it would be a good idea to integrate these sessions that look at our wellbeing, in our daily lives, even at the disposal of the worker by each employer identity, as CaféJAC already does?
